Volunteering

We love people to come and support us in any way they can. 

Could you give a day a week to work in school? 

Could you give an hour a week to read with some children?

Could you help out with the end of term activities?

Could you come on a school trip?

Do you have skills that you could volunteer to the school e.g. painting/carpentry/artist/careers talk?

How do I volunteer?

Firstly, contact the school office and let them know what you might be interested in doing. You can call on 02076221870 or email admin@st-georges.wandsworth.sch.uk 

Next, one of the team will contact you to get more details from you and start the DBS process. 

Once your DBS is processed, you can start to volunteer in school. 

Can I volunteer?

Anyone over 18 can volunteer to work in our school. 

If you have children or siblings in the school, you may be asked to volunteer in different classes.
