Playground Prayers
On the Friday 25th October, we will launch our 'Playground Prayers'.
At 8:30am, when we are lined up for the bell. The whole school community will be invited to pray together.
On 25th October, this will be The Lord's Prayer as the children have been studying this over the half term.
The words are below:
Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name,
your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread.
Forgive us our sins
as we forgive those who sin against us.
Lead us not into temptation
but deliver us from evil.
For the kingdom, the power,
and the glory are yours
now and for ever.
Amen.
We will then have 'Playground Prayers' every Monday morning.
The next Playground Prayers will be on the 11th November and will be linked to Remembrance Day.
Everyone is invited to join in with Playground Prayers and children, parents and staff will be invited to join in with leading these as the term goes on.
Prayers are invitational. All members of the community are asked to be respectful while prayers take place.
Remember 'Amen' means 'so be it' so everyone can join in with this at the end of the prayers.
