Bicentennial 2026

This year we are celebrating our 200th anniversary.

St. George's opened as a girls' and infants' school in 1826 and we are going to use 2026 to celebrate our bicentennial.

Throughout the year we will have events for the children, families and Alumni to mark the occasion.

We will keep you updated on these as we get more details. So far, the events are as follows:

Tue 27th January	Afternoon - KS1/KS2	Greg Jenner (Public Historian) visiting
Fri 30th January	Thanksgiving Service @St. George's church (10am)	Tickets will be available for parents on the app.
Friday 27th March	School Birthday Party 10am-12pm SCHOOL FAMILIES ONLY	come along between 10am-12pm with your children to enjoy a 'classic' birthday party. Bring your own picnic. There will be entertainment, music and ice cream!
Saturday 27th June	Alumni Celebration 11am-2pm TICKETED EVENT	come along to meet up with old friends and colleagues and celebrate 200 years of St. George's. There will be food, face painting, music, entertainment and.....a football competition in the pen!
